Executive Assistant to the Deputy Headmaster (Acting)
Marist College Canberra is looking for a person with excellent administration skills to provide administrative and operational support to the Deputy Headmaster for Term 1, 2026.

The Role
The EA to the Deputy provides administrative support to the Deputy Headmaster and Wellbeing Team. This is a pivotal and busy role, and will have the benefit of a prepared manual and instructions from the incumbent EA to the Deputy.
Selection Criteria
- A commitment to Catholic education in the Marist tradition and a willingness to contribute to the life of the College.
- A proactive, warm and personable nature, professional presentation, and an ability to liaise and interact effectively and positively with all members of the College Community.
- Excellent writing and communication skills including the ability to communicate with accuracy, diplomacy and integrity.
- Excellent administrative, technological and organisational skills, including an ability to learn operational systems that are used in the College setting.
- Appropriate professional experience and qualifications, and/or experience in a school setting.

Remuneration, Hours of Duty and Commencement Date
The position is classified under the Support Staff (Daramalan College, Marist College Canberra, and St Edmund’s College, Canberra) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 (the Agreement), as amended or replaced. An annual salary commensurate with the skills and qualifications of the successful candidate will be as per the Enterprise Agreement.
This is a full-time temporary position of 76 hours per fortnight. Hours of duty are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:06pm. The period of employment will be Tuesday 27 January to Thursday 2 April 2026.
